Planning Commission
The Planning Commission holds public hearings to review and make recommendations to the County Board on zoning resolution amendments, conditional use permits, and subdivision requests. The Planning Commission was instrumental in developing the county's Comprehensive Plan which it uses as a road map when making recommendations to the County Board. The Planning Commission consists of nine members appointed by the County Board of Commissioners for a term of three years.
